Accounting Manager H/F

Reporting directly to the Group CFO, this role combines operational excellence, financial leadership, and strategic business partnering in an international environment.

The Accounting Manager acts as a trusted advisor to local management, driving informed decision-making, profitability improvement, and successful post-acquisition integration while ensuring compliance with Sonepar Group policies and local statutory requirements.

Reporting Line & Scope

• Reports to the Group CFO; member of the European Finance Leadership Team
• Responsible for finance operations of a €20M revenue entity across the Netherlands and Belgium
• Business partner to Country Manager and local functions; key contact for auditors, tax advisors, banks, and authorities

Key Responsibilities

• Lead finance, accounting, and tax activities
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly/annual closing and Group reporting
• Provide forecasts, KPIs, and performance analysis to support decision-making
• Manage cash flow, working capital, compliance, and internal controls
• Drive finance transformation, ERP improvements, and process optimization
